DeliRadio (DeliRadio.com) is a new Pandora-like streaming radio service, dedicated to playing music by artists who are performing near each listener, within an adjustable time frame such as “this week” or “tonight.” Users can easily create and enjoy, free of charge, stations such as “Rock bands playing near me within two weeks.”
Now, DeliRadio enables community event-listings websites – newspapers, newsweeklies, magazines, blogs and venues – to design and brand their own local music stations, free of charge. The East Bay Express has installed six “EBX RADIO” stations (http://bit.ly/KMvoxy). These feature not only San Francisco and Bay Area upcoming acts, but also “Staff Picks,” a hand-selected group of acts. The five upcoming-show stations are organized by genre, for example “rock/pop/indie” and “world/Latin/reggae.”
Festivals are also taking advantage of DeliRadio, promoting self-branded stations featuring their line-up’s, for example Capitol Hill Block Party (http://capitolhillblockparty.com/) and High Sierra Music Festival (http://www.highsierramusic.com/). Their stations, like all DeliRadio stations, are freely shareable by users on social sites like Facebook and Twitter.
DeliRadio prides itself on showcasing the music of living, touring and performing musicians. Content on DeliRadio is 100% artist controlled. Many artists take advantage not only of its promotional capabilities but also use it to sell digital downloads (DeliRadio does not retain any of the proceeds).

Now with the white label embeddable player venues, blogs and newspapers can give their followers and readers the same tool for discovering local music and live concerts.
