Sony’s Music Unlimited cloud-based streaming digital music service has a new feature, dubbed My Channels, which is aimed at improving music discovery.
My Channels is designed to allow users to effectively create custom radio stations around a given musical artist, by analyzing and categorizing musical traits of the more than 10 million tracks in the catalog.
Music Unlimited also now allows subscribers to automatically skip tracks that are “disliked.” And, the service’s PS3 application includes new playlist management tools.
